Kobe Bryant Logoman Autograph Card Sells for Record $4.2 Million

A one-of-one 2017-18 Panini Flawless Kobe Bryant Logoman Autograph card has sold for $4.2 million, setting a new record for the most expensive solo Kobe Bryant trading card ever sold.

The private transaction, completed on October 28, 2026, saw Secure Collectibles sell the card to a group of collectors in China, represented by Pokecolor.

Remarkably, Secure Collectibles had purchased the exact same card for $1.7 million in August 2025. Just 15 months later, it changed hands for an additional $2.5 million, representing an increase of approximately 147% in its sale price.

The transaction also reportedly makes it the second-most expensive Panini Flawless card ever sold.

What Makes This Kobe Bryant Card So Special?

The 2017-18 Panini Flawless Logoman Autograph is a true one-of-one, combining several of the most desirable features in modern basketball card collecting.

The card features a full NBA Logoman patch from a game-worn Kobe Bryant jersey, accompanied by an on-card autograph signed in blue ink.

Graded PSA 9 with a perfect 10 autograph grade, it is also believed to be the only Kobe Bryant Logoman autograph produced during the Panini era that depicts him wearing his No. 8 Lakers jersey.

That detail carries particular significance for collectors familiar with Bryant’s career.

Kobe wore No. 8 during the first decade of his NBA career, winning three consecutive championships with the Los Angeles Lakers between 2000 and 2002. He later switched to No. 24, winning another two championships in 2009 and 2010.

Both numbers were retired by the Lakers on December 18, 2017, recognizing the two distinct chapters of his legendary 20-year career.

Produced following Bryant’s retirement in 2016, the Flawless card brings together his early-career imagery, game-worn memorabilia, and authentic signature in a single collectible.

From $1.7 Million to $4.2 Million in Just 15 Months

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of the transaction is how dramatically the card’s sale price has increased in such a short period.

Secure Collectibles originally acquired the card from a collector in China for $1.7 million on August 1, 2025.

On October 28, 2026, the company confirmed it had sold the same card for $4.2 million, with the collectible returning to China through a transaction involving Pokecolor.

Pokecolor also publicly confirmed the acquisition, describing the transaction as a milestone and celebrating its first successful collaboration with Secure Collectibles.

A New Record for Solo Kobe Bryant Trading Cards

At $4.2 million, the sale establishes a new reported record for the most expensive standalone Kobe Bryant trading card ever sold.

However, it isn’t the highest price ever paid for a card featuring the Lakers legend.

That distinction belongs to the 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman Autographs Michael Jordan & Kobe Bryant #DL-KM, which sold for an astonishing $12.9 million in August 2025.

The one-of-one card, graded PSA 6, features game-worn NBA Logoman patches and autographs from both Michael Jordan (Gold Logoman) and Kobe Bryant, making it one of the most significant basketball cards ever produced.

While the Jordan-Bryant Dual Logoman holds the overall record for a card featuring Kobe, the latest $4.2 million transaction establishes a new benchmark for cards featuring Bryant alone.

Both sales highlight the extraordinary demand for the rarest Kobe Bryant collectibles, particularly one-of-one Logoman autograph cards combining game-worn memorabilia with authentic signatures.
