Topps Announce New MLB Player’s Bat Knob Autograph Cards

Topps have announced a new baseball memorabilia card product at their industry conference in Atlanta.

They’ll be putting images of select players’ 2024 Topps flagship cards on their bat knobs, and once the bats have been used in games, the knobs will be removed and placed into special 1-of-1 autograph cards.

The announcement of the new product comes after the recent success of Topps’ 1-of-1 MLB Debut Patch cards, which have been popular among collectors.

The full checklist of players who will be included has not yet been revealed, but Baltimore Orioles’ Colton Cowser and Los Angeles Angels’ Nolan Schanuel have both been confirmed to be using a bat with their card image.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen bat knobs used as memorabilia for baseball cards, with notable releases in previous Topps sets like Sterling Baseball

They’ve generally resonated well with collectors, and these new flagship card image bat knob cards are something for collectors to look forward to.
