A new record has been set for the most expensive Michael Jordan card sale ever.
The 1-of-1 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Signed Logoman card sold at auction for $2,928,000 on Saturday, with collectibles marketplace Goldin.
Goldin described the card as one of the most important Michael Jordan cards of all time, and that is backed up by it now being the most valuable MJ card ever produced.
The elusive card has been graded as authentic by PSA, with a grade 10 given to the autograph.
While it doesn’t quite make the top 10 highest sports card sales of all time, it does break the previous record of $2,700,00 for a Michael Jordan card, which was set in 2021.
It’s still someway off the record price for a sports card, which is $12.6 million, in August 2022, for an SGC 9.5-graded copy of the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card.
