Caitlin Clark’s 2022 Bowman University Autograph Superfractor card, which is one-of-one and graded a 10 by PSA, has become the most expensive women’s basketball card of all-time, after selling at auction, via PWCC, for $78,000.
It comfortably beats the previous record, which was held by a Sabrina Ionescu card that sold for $11,500.
The 2022-23 Bowman University set features basketball’s collegiate stars, and the record-breaking card shows the Iowa Hawkeyes Point Guard in action, along with her signature.
While there are multiple parallel versions of Clark’s autograph card that exist, the Superfractor parallel, that has sold for $78k, includes a gold foil finish, and it’s the only copy.
Caitlin Clark has been gaining a lot of attention in the hobby, with her impressive performances for Iowa, which has seen her smash numerous records on the court, and this latest record, off the court, is another to add to the growing list.
Clark also moves into second place on the list of female athletes for the most expensive sports card sales; Only Serena Williams has ever had a card sell for more.
Williams has had multiple sports card sales of over $100k, with the all-time record being a $266.4k sale in 2022.
