Fanatics collectibles will be releasing official UFC trading cards under the Topps brand, following a new exclusive license deal.
Topps released the first ever official UFC sports cards during their previous partnership, which lasted from 2009 to 2020.
On Wednesday they announced a new deal, which will see the return of Topps Chrome UFC as the first product, released as early as February 28.
Fanatics Collectibles’ CEO, Mike Mahan, said: “Today is a day of celebration for both the hobby and all UFC fans. UFC trading cards are incredibly popular among collectors – and we are truly honored to be able to once again make innovative and fun cards featuring the next wave of stars.”
UFC’s Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products, Tracey Bleczinski, added: “We are excited to again join creative forces with Fanatics Collectibles and Topps, celebrating the sport of MMA and the unrivaled popularity of UFC through its unique personalities and historic moments”.
Following the announcement, Topps released a video on X, which gives collectors a first look at the upcoming 2024 Topps Chrome UFC release, which can be pre-ordered from February 1.
